I wanted to write this review because the other reviews on this site nearly deterred me from purchasing from Design Dua so I want to provide a counterpoint. I purchased the Moses basket & changing basket combination along with the stand and some extra sheets. My items just arrived, so haven't used with baby yet, but they are well made and beautiful. With the liner in the moses basket, the inside of the basket is very soft.

(Honest) Design Dua Bassinet Review – Why it’s the BEST Moses Basket
We call our bassinets, "Nature's Bassinets", as they are completely handmade with dried natural elephant grass. Each basket takes several days to weave from start to finish. This is a very difficult completely handwoven craft, as a result patterns and natural dyeing may vary slightly. Leather handle colors may range slightly within their color groups. I bought this bassinet for our living room since we spend so much time there with our newborn and I wanted something that was beautiful and functional for the space.

One of the legs was slightly scratched (but it's the one that would face inward). Didn't know the tan brown leather would look soo orangey but still very nice. Design Dua is designed for use until your baby is 15 Ibs.

Raw dried animal hide is not used, Quality leather or cloth is added to each basket. It comes with a great liner and cover, both of which are soft. We're excited for how this is still practical as a changing pad while all-around gorgeous, sustainably sourced, and ethically made, unlike other changing pads out there. The design and the quality of work (from the pictures) looked really nice. Great idea to make a basket to fit existing cushions!
Although it’s definitely worth every penny, it might not be your best option if you don’t plan on having multiple kids or your budget is tight. These baskets are approximately 29” long and 16” wide. At the time, we planned to bring baby #2 home while we were living in a 40ft 5th wheel! Design Dua also has an organic mattress option, but you will need to buy that separately.
My daughter-in-law wanted this for her second pregnancy but now really need it for her third. With 2 small boys, it will be super helpful to carry the bassinet from room to room. She loved the pink weave for her soon to be arriving daughter.
I am so in love with this piece, it shipped so quickly and came exactly as pictured. The bassinet and stand were shipped separately. When I opened the Moses basket, it was more beautiful in person than I imagined it would be. The natural grasses give it an earthy feel, which I love because they can go with any style or decor. Baskets are not to be used with any other pillows or mattresses. Adding other items to a bassinet can cause suffocation/SIDS. I was shipped a dog bed that had no cushion in it.
I had to reach out numerous times, and when they did finally get back to me they basically told me that they wanted nothing to do with helping me. The care team had absolutely no care for me even though it would have been so simple to send a new basket. I have no respect for the way they handle business now. To spend $155 on a dog basket with not bed is obsurd and then to be treated like an idiot for contacting them is beyond ridiculous.
